Join us for a Japanese-inspired evening with award-winning floral designer and long-time NSAL member and supporter Shelley Galloway.
Meet in the NSAL main studio at 620 Lincoln Avenue for delicious food, wine, and conversation, then enjoy Shelley’s thought-provoking Ikebana presentation.
Cost: $100 per person
Shelley Galloway will lead this fascinating Japanese-inspired evening. Through her videos, photography and Ikebana demonstrations, we’ll be drawn into the Japanese way of life and the philosophy of Wabi Sabi, a spiritual path towards beauty, simplicity, transience, and imperfection. Meet and mingle during this evening of enlightenment! A light Japanese supper will include sushi from award-winning restaurant Kamehachi, Japanese skewers, wine and more! Beautiful artwork by NSAL members as well as Ikebana arrangements by Shelley will be available for purchase.
